Etsy Artisan Interview with Falling Ladies

Describe yourself in ONE word.
Scattered.

What superhero power would you like to have and why?
To be able to fly! maybe that's why my ladies fall-fly-float?!?  And as a second choice.. I'd love to have the power to walk past a piece of candy without eating it, or at least superhuman metabolism!

What is the wackiest thing you have ever done?
This is hard, I don't really do too many crazy things... people seem to think of me as wacky though as I have a lot of strange interests: like alternative medicines and aromatherapy and flower essences and fortune telling, and tai chi, etc etc and although I don't consider them wacky, lots of my friends or family do.

Do you like minty cheese?
eeewh!!

How did you first get interested in what you do?
I have ALWAYS loved to draw and paint, my mother's very creative and even though I didn't paint often for many years due to having young kids, I still always thought of myself as an artist. Now I can't figure out why I stopped for so long as I feel like I need to make things all the time.

Tell us about your shop.
Mostly in my shop I have my watercolors. And mostly they are of falling ladies... they fall because with an autistic child, and even just for everybody... life gets hectic, it gets messy and overwhelming. But my ladies fall with a style of some sort, and grace and they've learned to enjoy the fall. I always say I'm jealous of my falling ladies. I also have some dolls and tags in my shop, and I plan to add note cards, mugs, 'Zines, and spoonflower fabric from my art. My oldest daughter and I also do needle felting that's available in her shop; Barefootbananas.

What is the meaning of life?
Don't worry, be happy! Be happy with what you have... I really do try to think like that every day, it doesn't always work of course.
