Etsy Artisan Interview with Big Hairy Bugs

Describe yourself in ONE word.
Imaginative.

What superhero power would you like to have and why?
Flying -- without a doubt (though I'd have to overcome my fear of heights!). I think it would be cool to get a new perspective on things.

What is the wackiest thing you have ever done?
Taught my cat to drink out of my water bottle.

Do you like minty cheese?
Is the green cheese in the refrigerator actually "minty?"

How did you first get interested in what you do?
I've been drawing and painting pictures and making things forever, and now I'm actually trying to sell them.

Tell us about your shop.
My shop features cards and prints from my original drawings and paintings, as well as some new soft sculptures. Animals are a huge inspiration for me, and I really like to imagine what they're thinking. I named my shop BigHairyBugs because I REALLY like bugs. They're miniature works of art! Rather than swat at them, we should all take a closer look because the patterns and designs are pretty amazing. My cats also like bugs, and they admire them, but I'm afraid their interest is more in the snack-food category.
